SOLAR ENERGY RESEARCH LABORATORY (SERL)

Welcome to the Solar Energy Research Laboratory (SERL). SERL is involved in the field of renewable energy research, especially Solar Thermal Technology innovation for enabling new and advance designs of devices and concepts. The interdisciplinary nature of research covers novel designs of solar geysers, solar cookers, Solar dryers and desalination systems along with development of generalized test procedures for performance rating of such devices. All these activities are aimed towards development of user friendly technologies for rural entrepreneurship and solutions for grass route level issues, where first the proof-of-concept devices and ultimately integration level performance is investigated.
